Barcelona will play their 2nd match in UCL group stage against Juventus at the Allianz Stadium, home of Juventus. It’s an important game for Barcelona to redeem themselves from the 1:3 loss against Real Madrid. Juventus are worried ahead of the clash. Cristiano Ronaldo still out from their last league game due to Covid19. But the superstar is waiting for his test results and hopefully will be available for the class. Fans are expecting a Messi vs Ronaldo clash after their last meeting back in 2018.

Predicted XI:

Juventus:   Paulo Dybala, Alvaro Morata , Dejan Kulusevski

Adrian Rabiot, Aaron Ramsey, Arthur Melo, Juan Cuadrado

                     Leonardo Bonnuci, Merih Demiral, Danillo

                                      Wojciech Szczensy (GK)

Barcelona:  Ansu Fati, Antoine Griezmann, Leo Messi

Frenkie De jong, Sergio Busquets, Miralem Pjanic

Jordi Alba, Clement Langlet, Ronald Araujo, Segino Dest

                                       Neto (GK)

 Injury/Suspension:

Juventus: Paulo Dybala is out injured along with long term injury returnee Giorgio Chiellini. Fans are hoping for a miracle comeback of Cristiano Ronaldo from COVID 19. Chiellini was out injured long term before picking up an injury in last champions league game. Alex Sandro and De ligt will also miss the game due to injury.

Barcelona: Pique will miss the clash because of his red card against Ferencvarossi. Samuel Umtitit and regular keeper Marc Andre Ter Stegan will also miss the match due to injury. Jordi Alba was withdrawn in the last game against Real Madrid with slight discomfort but should be available against Juventus. The major injury concern for them will be Coutinho. Just when he started to perform well he collected a Hamstring injury.

What to expect:

We hope Cristiano Ronaldo will be available for this juicy fixture. He will be key to Juventus. Barcelona will looking for a win after disappointing League results. Messi performed well but couldn't impact the result. Sergino Dest will be a surprise for Juventus in the left flank of Juve. Juventus prefers to play with 3 in the backline. It would be interesting to see how Andrea Pirlo resists the pressing from front 3 of Barcelona. With the inexperience and absence of Gerard Pique Juve will try to breakthrough hard. It would be an interesting selection of Ronald Koeman, Barcelona Head coach. Both the team are nowhere near their best. Miralem Pjanic will be coming home to his former club Juventus. Arthur will play against his former club also. These are nights football fans dream off. An exciting UCL night awaits us.

Our win Prediction:

Home: Juventus: 50%

Away: Barcelona: 30%

Draw: 20%
