FC Barcelona are definitely not the club they once were. From being hailed as the best team of all time to losing three Champions League quarter-finals in a row, certainly, all is not good at FC Barcelona. The final nail in the coffin was Leo Messi publicly stating that he wanted to leave the club of his dreams and is not happy with how things are being run at the club.

This statement by Leo Messi had great repressions, the latest of them being the resignation of the then Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu. Talks have been going on about rejuvenating the club.
Victor Font who is Barcelona’s presidential frontrunner said that he´d bring Guardiola Back
In his latest online interview with Sky Sports Victor Font, FC Barcelona presidential candidate, shared his intentions to bring big names back to the club.
"And most of the best professionals who know about this style are also fans and love the club – like Pep Guardiola, Xavi, Iniesta, Puyol. They are all legends that love Barcelona but do not work for Barca today – we need to bring them back to ensure we will have a very competitive project," said Font.
The favourite for the presidential seat also admitted that his project won´t be a walk in the park. “Replacing the best generation the world of football has ever seen, which I believe we have had over the last decade, is a big challenge.”
Font then explained what the club has to do to keep Messi happy and motivated. "The only thing Messi needs is to know he is part of a competitive project that aspires to win the next Champions League. We have no doubt that if we basically have the honour to take the helm of FC Barcelona we will be able to achieve that (Messi staying at the club).”
Presently Barcelona are just a shadow of their former self. Bringing back the likes of Guardiola, Xavi, Iniesta, Puyol and other legends who were a part of arguably the greatest Barcelona side might just spark a sense of much needed rejuvenation in the side.
