SERGIO RAMOS AT REAL MADRID

Sergio Ramos now 34, joined the La Liga giants in 2005 and has since developed himself into one of the finest defenders of our generation with some calling him even the best defender of all time. Sergio Ramos has won a staggering 20 titles with Real Madrid which includes 4 UEFA Champions League, 4 Club World Cups, 3 UEFA Super Cups and 2 Copa Del Rays. Out of these 20 titles 10 of them were won while Sergio Ramos was the captain. After the departure of Real Madrid’s all time goal scorer Cristiano Ronaldo, Sergio Ramos has taken over the penalty duties and has been scoring crucial goals ever since.

TRANSFER RUMOURS

With Sergio Ramos’s contract ending on June 2020, clubs such as Juventus and PSG are reportedly interested in signing the 34 year old talisman. With Cristiano Ronaldo leading the lines for Juventus, Sergio Ramos may well be tempted to join the Italian Champions considering what Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos have achieved together at Real Madrid. This might well be the last piece of the puzzle for the Italian giants Juventus in their quest for the coveted UEFA Champions League title

PSG are also known for making high profile transfer moves and they just might land the Spanish international in Paris. With Thiago Silva’s departure to Chelsea, the French Champions are looking for someone to fill the gaps left behind by former PSG captain Thiago Silva. With PSG also in search of their first UEFA Champions League title, having a seasoned and battle-hardened leader like Sergio Ramos will definitely boost their chances

Even at 34 the Sergio Ramos is still showing no signs of slowing down, he still has the hunger and also the physical presence to perform at the highest level. No matter where he ends up, Sergio Ramos will always be an example of leadership and tenacity to everyone around him.
