Not many players have had the pleasure of scoring 100 goals for the club that they play in. Sergio Ramos often hailed as the greatest defender of all time has managed to achieve this astonishing feat.

Sergio Ramos is the captain and the leader that all the teams wish for.  be it scoring crucial headers for the team in important finals or taking over the penalty duties after the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, Sergio Ramos has always stepped up for Real Madrid both with his defending and with his knack of scoring goals.

"I hope I can continue to play a lot more games and score a lot more goals," Ramos said after reaching a century of goals against Inter on Tuesday. "The records and numbers are nice, but winning is the most important thing."

MARCA asked Sergio Ramos to pick five of his favourite goals for Real Madrid. Ramos admitted that naming his top 5 wouldn’t be easy and would have to work that out.

"The goals are like my children," said Ramos on choosing his list. "It's hard to choose one, but there has been one that has been very special and has defined my career - the one against Lisbon against Atletico Madrid."

The second goal that he named was also against Atletico Madrid and also it was in their second UEFA Champions League finals meeting in Milan. Sergio Ramos scored the first goal for Real Madrid that day before being equalized by Yannick Carrasco. The game went on to the penalties and Real Madrid prevailed through via the penalties

For his third choice, he actually chose two goals. Real Madrid won 4-0 against a formidable Bayern Munich side which was managed by Carlo Ancelloti. Sergio Ramos scored two of those four goals that night, which was one of the greatest European nights for Real Madrid

For his fourth favourite goal, Sergio Ramos chose a goal in La Liga back in 2016-17. It was the Classico and Real Madrid was trailing their rivals Barcelona by a goal, courtesy of Luis Suarez. Ramos scored a 90th-minute equalizer to ensure that Real Madrid secured at least a point from that match. That goal was a very vital one as Los Blancos went on to win the league title that year.

The last goal that Sergio Ramos chose out of his 100 goals was a goal against Olympiacos back in the 2005-06 campaign. Real Madrid actually lost that match 2-1 with the only solitary goal coming from Ramos in the 7th minute of the game.
